RocknRolla quick review - Its terrible !

I just got back from a late showing of Guy Ritchies latest "gangster" film "RocknRolla"What a load of contrived, mockney bollocks that was !!
Clocking in at pretty much 2 hours long you would expect an alluring story covered in detail concluding with a decent ending. Instead Ritchie skims over the dull characters, force feeding you their back story within the last 5 minutes of the film. The twist is unsubtle and the villians aren't in the slighest bit menacing. Its not even that the film is a brain dead crime film jam packed with shoot outs, explosions and murders instead of a story line, if it was I would have accepted that it was nothing more than that and sat back enjoying the CGI wank fest but there is nothing of the sort. No explosions, or overly dramatic stunts combined with a mundane,scatty storyline. Its just plain dull !
Even the wonderful Jeremy Piven could not save this disaster, lets hope he can make it up to me over the next few days when Entourage returns to our screens with him playing one of my favourite characters of all time, Mr Ari Gold
I would favour listening to Madonna's latest album on loop for 2 hours instead of ever seeing this film again that puts into perspective exactly how bad I thought this film was. In fact I preferred Revolver at least Ray Liotta's scenes were enjoyable !
I will close saying only one good thing about the film. And that is Thandie Newton.. MMMMMMMMM!!! I could easily have sat through 2 hours solid of constant screen action with her!
