American Apparel confirms it is opening in Manchester

A while ago I posted a rumour that I heard regarding American Apparel opening in Manchester. It has now been confirmed courtesy of their website that it will be opening soon and will be on Market Street.
Personally I dont think this is the ideal place for it, and in my head I cannot imagine how it is going to work, the units there look far too small for a fashion retailer selling both Mens and Womenswear. Maybe they will make use of the basement space. Still it is a premium retail spot and its location is ideal for developing an offline presence considering the average Market Street shopper may not have come across the brand before. Its also ideal for competing with the likes of Topshop, H&M etc which are all located fairly close by.
