according to rumours American Apparel is to open in the Northern Quarter soon.
I cant find anything online about it yet apart from its supposed to be near Common.
All we need now is a Uniqlo and I will be that bit happier with the high street

it is supposed to be opening on church street towards the end of november.
Do you have a source please ?
I've had a few responses about this sent to me.
Well according to the American Apparel website it is not opening in the Northern Quarter at all, it will be opening on Market Street opposite M&S.
